Workshop: Yoga for finding and following your passion
January 2018 date tbc
"Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."
"What is my purpose? What makes me feel alive? What is it that I came here to do?" - I asked myself these questions, obsessively, for many years. Over time, I understood what my talents and passions were and found ways to integrate them into my life. It was a slow, dedicated process, and I had to make conscious decisions to move towards my purpose again and again as life threw its challenges into my path. It was worth the effort - today, I feel more vibrant and alive, because I am able to be myself and do what I love.
Bringing your passion and purpose into your life does not mean you need to quit your job, move, or make any drastic changes. In fact, a gentle, gradual process of creating more truth and dedication in your life is more likely to be sustainable in the long term. When we step into our truth and begin to embody and live what we are truly meant to do in our lives, we feel more alive and literally have more energy, simply because we allow ourselves to be who we really are.
We will use physical yoga practice, as well as meditation and other techniques, in order to gain more clarity around our purpose in life. We will also cultivate the inner strength, creativity and determination to make it happen.
"I have found the workshop has had some dramatic results for me. I really liked the meditation and the tasks you gave us, as I feel it really pushed me to admit I was holding myself back from fulfilling my potential - which was the reason for signing up to the course.
I know myself well, however immediately after leaving the workshop I was compelled to do things without thinking, being the authentic me, following my passions literally 10 minutes after. I guess in life you usually find what you are looking for when you look deeper and the workshop awoke them in me."
